The band Unspoken has never garnered big headlines in the Christian music sphere, but that doesn’t mean these guys lack talent. Unspoken proves how talented they are with their fourth studio album, simply titled Unspoken IV. The engaging recording offers soulful, high-energy music with lyrics about everyday life.

One jewel is the popular radio single, “What He Says About You.” “You are loved; Chosen; Long before the day you were born; You are held; Forgiven; Treasured more than you’ll ever know; When the lies get loud; Let the truth ring out; Till the other thing you’re listening to; Is what He says about you.”

Frontman Chad Mattson talked about the song’s message in a release. “It’s really hard to differentiate the truth from how we feel or who culture says we should be. So I hope this song just washes over people’s spirits, minds, and hearts, reinforcing what the truth really is. “There’s only one voice that matters, and it’s the voice of God.” Another thought-provoking song is “More Church Than Church,” which focuses on how a substance abuse group on a Tuesday night reflects more of the real church because its attendees know they are broken and admit it.
